Phone to work which helps your phone and also improves phone performance.

High RAM Usage:

If your smartphone ram is almost full then this is the reason why your phone keeps freezing. to check ram usage go to settings then Apps from there switch to running here you will see at the bottom the used and free ram is listed

You will also see which apps are running in the background either clear apps from the list by clicking it and then force stop. or click on the recent key on the bottom right on the screen and clear the apps from there or use both options.

Multiple apps:

Don't use multiple apps at the same time because it also causes the cellphone to hang or freeze so just avoid using multiple applications at the same time

Full Storage:

If your smartphone storage is full or did not remain enough then most likely this was the case for the phone to froze.

Solution:

Simply free up storage and make sure you have at least 3GB free in your android phone in order to keep it away from lagging.

Chache:

Chache in the phone is also the reason for smartphone hanging. so it is good practice to keep clearing the cache every one week or two

Solution:

Go to settings and then storage there you will find the option of clearing cache data simply click on it and then clear the cache button. that's it

Software Update:

If you have not updated your phone to the latest version so just simply update your phone from the settings app but if you have the latest version already then just skip this step.

Heating Issue:

The heating of the smartphone also decrease the performance and hence your device start's freezing

Solution:

Short and simple settings to do:

• First of all open settings and then go to about phone and from there tap 7 to 8 times or until developer option is not comes

• After that go to developer options and from there find options called "windows animation scale, Transition animation scale, animator duration scale" now open it one by one and disable them

• then find an option called"Don't keep activities" turn this option on (not for gamers and it also disturbs downloading) so if you download large applications then don't use this option

• there is also an option right after the above called "background process limit" and select it to 1, 2, or 3 according to your need.

Third-party launcher:

Third-party launchers are also the main reason for cell phones to hang or freeze because these launchers are not sable and also not android stock launchers due to which the third-party and android stock launcher both keep running in the background due to which ram usage increases and ultimately your phone starts hanging

Hard reset or factory reset:

If all the upper steps and solutions did not work for you then this is the only way to solve the issue of smartphone hang problem you have to reset the phone to its factory default it will erase all of your data so before doing this backup all of your important data and then do a factory reset by going into the settings and then back up and reset option and then click on erase everything

Old Hardware:

If you haven't changed your phone for the past 4 to 5 years or using an old phone which has only 2 to 3GB ram then this is the reason why your smartphone is freezing. because the old phone was not able to handle the latest applications and hence it stopped working properly.
