[Solved] PC turn on but no display/PC not power on 2022

[Solved] PC turn on but no display/PC not powering up/PC turn on and then off. EPCS computer doesnot giving display.pc display.pc turn off automatic.

Hi, Guys welcome to EPCS (Every PC Solution).In today's topic, we learn some issues that we face in our PC when we use it for few weeks.

PC turn On BUT NO DISPLAY

The most common and annoying problem is the computer turn on but cannot give display all the fans working but won't giving display on the monitor screen. some people also say this as PC/Computer turn on but the screen is black. The post is divided into three parts.

  • PC Turn On but no Display.

  • Computer Turn on and then turn off automatically.
  • PC Won't be Turning On/No Power in Computer.

       1. PC Turn On but no display.

in this condition, you have to see multiple things depending upon your PC configurations the steps of the Solution are Given below. 

  • Check your Monitor.
  • Check your Power Supply.
  • Check your Power Cables.
  • Check your Rams Sticks.

  • Extra step for those who have an external Graphics Card(GPU).

    i.Check Your Monitor.

First of all turn on your computer and see if the keyboard light is on or off. if it's off then move to the next step which is to check your power supply.   if it is on then check if your monitor is properly connected to the CPU through VGA, HDMI, or Display Port Etc. some times the connection to the monitor is loose or broken which causes it to get no display.

    ii. Check your Power Supply (P.S.U).

Check to see if your power supply is not faulty or getting full electricity. It happens mostly if the p.s.u is not working properly or got damaged so change your p.s.u and see if it give display if not then follow the next step

   iii. Check Your Power Cables

See your cables in the cabinet if it is plugged properly on the motherboard loose cables also cause the PC to not give display so remove all the cables and plug back in to see if the monitor gives a display. If Still no luck move on to step number 4

    iv. Check your Rams Sticks 

This is the last step which works for almost everyone Facing the no display issue what you have to do is remove your ram and clean it with a pencil eraser and then put it back into the motherboard if still not giving display then replace it. if you have two(2)or more sticks then put them one by one

   v.Extra step for those who have external Graphics Card(GPU)

This is the one extra step for those who have installed GPU in Their Computer make sure you connected the cable with Your GPU which is coming from the monitor. if the cable is connected properly and stills have no display output then remove your graphics card and then check if the display comes then your GPU is faulty.

If the above steps did not help you then go to the technician.

   2. Computer Turn on and then turn off Automatically/PC Won't turn on

If you are facing this type of issue that your PC turns on and then turn off immediately, automatically, repeating, boot loop or the PC even not turning on are the same things so we are going to diagnose these common issues which everyone face while using a computer in their office or home

so if this error occurs then follow the steps one by one

  • First of all, remove all the rams stick and turn on your computer and see if its start beeping or if you have dell PC then see if the led shows error numbers if yes then clean or replace your ram if stills no boot then follow the next step
  • Remove all devices like ram, hard drive, and
    (graphics card if you have one) and check if it turns on and beeps if not then continue on next step

ATX 4 pin
  • Remove the four(4) pin connector called atx cable and see if it turns on if yes then your PC motherboard VRM section is short if it stills not turning on then your whole motherboard is short if this was the problem then you need to replace it your motherboard but before replacing try the following troubleshooting tips

     How to remove motherboard shorting

  • Clean the dust from your motherboard and see if the shorting is removed 
  • Use hot air(hairdryer) to remove moisture from the motherboard 

If all the upper steps did not work for you then replace your motherboard.
