Why Computer becomes slow?
Well, there are many reasons that make Windows 7,8.1, and 10 even windows 11 become slow. However, this problem may come from hardware or software or even from both. So we discuss it briefly and step by step so everyone can fix it easily.

How to solve issues in Software?
There are many common issues that cause computer windows 10 to run slow.
1. Programs
You may have many programs installed on your computer which cause unresponsiveness in your windows 10 or even your pc might be started freezing so uninstall unnecessary apps that you won’t use in your daily life.
2. Background apps
The background apps cause the windows to become lazy so stop unwanted apps from running in the background from the following steps
- If you are using windows 7 then open the system configuration panel and click on the startup tab and remove the apps (unnecessary app) from starting with windows and click on apply.
- If you are using windows 10 then open task manager and then double click on it to expand after that click on the startup tab and disable unnecessary apps.
3. Antivirus programs
Using free or paid any external antivirus apps also because the computer to run or become slow so I prefer to not use any antivirus programs rather I prefer to use windows built-in windows defender.
4. Non Genuine windows
The non-genuine window also becomes slow on time because these windows are activated with third party software so try to use a genuine version of windows
5. Viruses or Malware
The windows become very slow because the virus in the computer eats all of the PC recourse and the computer becomes unresponsive freezes and might crash sometimes so scan your PC with viruses through windows defender.

If your hard drive has no enough space left then free up some space by deleting temporary
files which you don’t need because this is also causing PC to slow down
Press the Windows key and r button at the same time and type these commands and press enter key to delete all files from these folders

- Prefetch
You can delete these files from recycle bin also.
2. Hardware
If all the upper steps did not work for you then you have a problem with your hardware so here is a guide to solving lag in computer/PC
- Clean dust from your PC. Dust In the computer can cause high computer temperature so this affects your PC performance. Clean all the component in your computer like ram hard drive processor etc.
- Check hard disk health with software like hard disk sentinel If your hard drive health is lower than 90% that’s the reason why your is PC running slow
- If your ram is 3 GB or less RAM 3 GB then consider upgrading your ram to at least 6 GB which is now the minimum requirement.
- Don’t use heavy browsers like chrome, firefox, etc, and don’t use a bunch of extensions in chrome because It eats a lot of computer resources.
- Upgrade your processor to at least 3.0 GHz and use a four (4) core processor.
- If your computer is old almost four to six years then upgrade your computer
